Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a cerebral disorder featured with disability of discernment or expression of authenticity. It is characterized with nervous breakdown, anarchy in perception of the senses. The Social and Environmental factors, Personal emotional perturbations, genetic disarray, drug abuse are some of the major factors rooting to the incidence of Schizophrenia. The disease eventually leads to unceasing chronic disorders, depression and apprehensive disorders which lead to decreased life expectancy with increased suicide rate. It also involves loss of stream of memory and expressions. The main periods of social exposure like early adolescence and late adulthood are the major periods of the disease. The characteristic symptoms usually are hallucinations, delusions, catatonic behavior, malfunction of speech and hearing aids, disorganization in responsivity to situations etc, The disease might often be confused with other conditions of mental disorder and thereby lacks distinction among others. The treatment of the disease usually involves positive and negative scale identification with hospitalization, medication and psychotherapy. This disease not only involves treatment to the individual but also awareness to the society regarding the patience required in co-operating with the treatment of the individual.
